Hunting in
Turkey
Where East Meets West
in the Mountains
Turkey is one of the world's most diverse hunting destinations, straddling the boundary between Europe and Asia with an extraordinary variety of terrain — from the snow-draped peaks of the Pontic Mountains in the north, to the sun-bleached limestone ridges of the Taurus range in the south.
Our concessions in Turkey span several provinces and cover everything from technical stalks for Bezoar Ibex above 3,000 metres to driven boar hunts through dense Mediterranean scrub. Turkey's hunting regulations are among the best-managed in the region, and our long-standing relationships with the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks (DKMP) ensure seamless licensing and quota management.
The Terrain
Bezoar Ibex hunting takes place in the dramatic limestone karst of the Taurus range at altitudes between 1,800 and 3,000 metres. The terrain demands good physical fitness — stalks typically involve 4–6 hours of hiking across exposed ridges and scree slopes. The reward is access to trophy bucks of exceptional size, often in spectacular settings with views spanning hundreds of miles.
